That's true and anyone who says that they are not even the slightest bit racist is lying to themselves....We all judge people based on appearance.  When we don't know a person, we put them into little groups called stereotypes.  If we have anecdotal experience that reaffirms that stereotype, then we believe the stereotype is even more true for that certain group.  And just because you have been a victim of racism doesn't mean you aren't a racist yourself.

But that's not racism. Smile Some dusky kinds can be very attractive too. Smile

So when you describe someone's appearance what is usually the first thing that comes to mind? Their race which usually is synonymous with their features associated with that race unless if they are mixed and it's harder to tell.  With Obama, you see a black man even though he is black and white mixed.  We see a person's skin color and then put them into a race category.
