Hello everyone Star

Like most of you know, there are lots of home made masks and scrubs to improve your skin.

I think its a good idea to make one topic for all tips. In this case nobody needs to make new topics or search alot.

I hope mod will make this topic sticky Embarrassed

So now I will post a few tips.... Star

Banana Oatmeal Mask used to energize ur skin.

Ingredients:

1 medium to large Banana; soft and peeled

1/3 to 1/2 cup oatmeal(depends on the size of the banana)

Instructions:

Mash the oatmeal into the soft peeled banana a little at a time. Continue until all of the oatmeal is moistened. Apply to your face evenly, leaving it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water or soft wash cloth.

Avocado Facial Mask use to soften your skin

Ingredients:

1/2 Avocado

Instructions:

Mash avocado and apply evenly to your face. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water or soft wash cloth.

Cucumber and Yogurt Facial Mask use to give your face an energy boost.

Ingredients:

1/2 cucumber

1 tablespoon yogurt

Instructions:

Puree cucumber and yogurt in a blender, apply to your face evenly. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water or soft wash cloth.

Orange Yogurt Facial Mask use to clean your pores.

Ingredients:

1 tsp plain yogurt

juice of 1/4 of an orange

Instructions:

Stir to mix and then dip fingers into mixture and smooth onto face. The sensation is both cool and relaxing. Leave on for a five - ten minutes and then rinse.

Mask for sensitive skin

Ingredients:

1 cup natural yogurt (we like it just-out-of-the-fridge cold)
cup oatmeal (any type of basic oatmeal works here)

Preparation:

Mix the ingredients together.
Apply to the skin for 10-15 minutes.
Wash off mask with a washcloth steamed in the microwave (careful that it's not too hot).

Two other fun options for oatmeal face masks:
Egg whites. Mix the oatmeal and an egg white. Let the mixture dry on face, then gently wash off with a few splashes of warm water. Follow with a steaming washcloth to the face.

One srub I would like to add Embarrassed

1/2 cup sugar juice from 1 lemon

1 tbsp vegetable oil

Mix sugar, lemon juice, and oil in a bowl. Combine well.

After applying on your face, rinse after 1-2 minutes.

This scrub can be use weekly Big smile

Yes if you have open skin it will burn otherwise you can use it monthly..at least I do but sugar is better Embarrassed
