Taare zameen par is not nominated for the Oscars, it was not chosen in the 9 shortlisted films.

How does it matter? Indian cinema needs no approval from the west. India loved TZP and appreciated it. Nothing else matters.

tho if it was appreciated by the rest of the world too tht would be good na! Like AR Rehman won a golden globe recently, i'm sure alot of indians felt proud for his achievment. =)
