Can anyone help me how to steam hair at home???

You can just take a wash cloth/ small towel,

then put it in hot water..& then u just put it around ur head

and then let all the hot steam...soak in ur hair

and then repeat before u feel the towel cold :)

what does this do to your hair though? does it soften and silken it?

well i usually do that after i put oil to my hair so that the oil soaks in :)

it helps rehydrate them!

But by this will my hair get wet???
hot water will not harm my hair???

Yes your hair will get wet cuz ur using hot water..

& i dont know abt the damaging part but it does help redydrate them!

1st-boil water until hot..

2nd get under a blanket with the hot water

3rd- lyk it sink in..!

4th im tottaly JOKING!

i have no clue..on how to steam hair..i dnt rele get wht it does..

rehydrates? - was the hair ever dehyrdated in the 1st place?

- i kno..im askin rele dumb questions!

but i dnt get it!

lyk if ur hair is damaged from str8ing..does it make ur hair soft again?
