Rajveer is getting ready to go to work in the morning oblivious of the importance of the day


 


Naina comes and looks up at him

That is our engagement photo"


Naina pointed at the photoframe on the dresser

 


Still Rajveer can't recollect.

He starts to stammer ...




"No stammering, Look at this now "

Naina points at the photos nearby

"Oh My God, how could  I forget..."




"Ok darling. Dont worry. I will be back in time and you will get a surprise."



"Pukka ??"



"Yes honey ..."



Giving a quick hug to Naina , Rajveer ran out.






He entered his office, switched on his computer and stared at the wallpaper.

Naina , simple and lovely


 
Rajveer started to day -dream and remembered when he first proposed to Naina





Suddenly He felt remoreseful and thought of giving his lovely wife a treat

A walk-through over the most romantic moments of their life.

He also invited all their common friends .


It was already evening


The starry night stood witness to them, their only company tonight, as he led her towards the place.

Blindfolded and blindly in love Naina cribbed, as she did not like his idea of being blindfolded. So she again asked for the fifth time this evening, "where are we going?"

Raj tried to suppress the smile at her restlessness and pretended to be angry, so he replied sternly, "offo naina, u really haven't grown from ur days at kma, have u? Have patience." He finished off.

 She remained silent throughout the journey, the inner soldier in her wanted to remove the blindfold or in the least peep through the cloth that closed her eyes but the obedient wife in her, wanted to cherish the moment and her heart told her to wait in anticipation for the surprise he was about to give.

 They got down from the car, she still blindfolded, and he helped her get down, and both of them moved forward. She tried her level best to feel the place, sense anything familiar, but no luck, looked like he planned well ahead knowing her well enough.

As they were nearing the destination, naina smelt something familiar,but cleared the thought coz it couldn't be'just couldn't be.

Finally when he opened her blindfold she nearly fell back into his arms, he held her tightly with his head on her shoulders, holding her from the behind from her waist and asked her "kyun? Kaisi lagi jaan?"

"Oh !! "   She could say no more, as she marveled at the place and the sight in front of her.

 
They stood at point 1857, the place which witnessed their first ever confession and many more sweet memories that even today, after a year of marriage to him, she still felt like a Cadet, standing with her mentor, dying to pour out her emotions.
 

 "but how is this possible?" she asked as their way up here was nothing tedious at all, they had walked leisurely, knowing well that their previous visit was so difficult that she nearly stumbled twice while trying to climb.

 He just smiled back at her, "there r many ways to get to this point jaan"

 
She couldn't believe her ears, "but then' - last me'why dint u show me this way the last time?", she asked him to which he just winked at her and said "hmmmmmmm bas yeh samjho ki I wanted to spend some time with u back then and challenge bina kya mazaa naina?"

And yes he did. He turned her towards the wishing pillar and from behind it came all their friends, all five of them, all had progressed well in their career but still made it a point to be here for the special day in raj and naina's life.

 
 
 She was just too overwhelmed to speak as she hugged all her friends, her eyes brimming with tears, while raj watched her with full love, his eyes reflecting his emotions well.

So they had a simple party at the Point
By the time they rode back , it was late and Naina couldnt keep her eyes open .

Rajveer carried her to  bed and lit a candle ....
