Hello members!

Time for next DOTW!

This time let's discuss friendship in tinsel town. There are only a few celebrities who have been friends through thick and thins. Usually friendship doesn't last in the industry. Friends turn foes easily. And people do not like to make friends inside the industry.

What do you think is the reason behind this?
Is it because of the competition or the media pressure?
Is it because of the rumors?
Anything else you'd like to add?

Celebrities don't stay friends because of all the above you listed, competition, media and rumors.

I don't see female celeb who are friends beside kareena and amrita arora. You don't see many female industry friends because of jealousy toward each other, competiton, media and rumors. But of course you see lots of male friends in the same industry because males don't care about competiton that much.

Media tends to send out bad vibes. Even if twoo celebs may be thinking of a friendship in th emaking, rumors/gossip is always being spread. that trust could be shaken, and one may not know whom to believe.

Shahrukh Khan and Juhi chawla have managed to stay good friends for quite a while now and she was also good mates with aamir khan earlier in her career. But their friendship broke up not because of the media but coz of a misunderstanding between them both and aamir playing a prank on juhi that she felt went too far. But the media probably didn't help when it came to them patching things up, probably thats why it took them a whole 6 years to start talking again as there were a lot of rumours in between.
