The groom is rushed to the hospital. Geet is in a state of shock & storms off suddenly. Channi Chachi questions Lajoji whether Geet had a lover in the past. The Dr informs everybody that his condition is critical. The Granthi ridicules the act of firing gun shots on a wedding, which has led to the untoward incident. Geet goes to meet Baba but cant find him, she breaksdown at the mazaar & prays for the well being of her groom. The Baba punishes himself by walking on the ambers. Gyaniji, Subedar arrive along with the groom's corpse. All are shattered to learn that the groom is no more. Geet goes to touch the corpse but is stopped by the groom's Dada & father. They ridicule her for being a bad omen in their son's life which has taken his life. Gyaniji requests them not to blame Geet but to no avail & they constantly hurl abuses at Geet & take the dead body away & we charge to a shocked Geet.
