Riddhima: Ouch!!! (Looks around at everyone looking at her) kia hua…??
Muskaan: tujhse puch rahay hain Ridziiiii….(winking at her)
Riddhima; kia puch rahay ho??
Anjali: yehi ke tujhe kisi ke liye vrat rakhna hota, to kiss ke liye rakhti…??
Riddhima looks up at them in horror. Then she looks at Armaan, who had a smug smile on his face. Oh no, she was stuck.
Riddhima: (gulps) mu…mujhse??? Main kiss ke liye….
Muskaan: arey…iss main itni ghabranay ki kia baat hai…bata na…
Just then Anjali's pager rings.
Anjali: sorry guys I have to take this…bye…(she gets up and leaves)
Riddhima thanks God that the attention was deviated from her, but Muskaan had something else brewing in her mind.
Muskaan: *thinks: Itni jaldi nahi Riddhima* (clears her throat) aheeemmm…haan to tu ne bataya nahi Riddhima…(feigning innocence)
Riddhima looks up at her with angry eyes while Muskaan gloats.
Aditi: haan Riddhima batao na…aissa kaunsa insan hai jis ke liye TUM vrat rakho
gi?? (egging her on)
Riddhima: aissa koi insan ka kia matlab…main kahan itne logon ko janti hun….
Muskaan: arey chalo nahi janti to umm…aissa karo…(looks around) Just suppose, okay…ke tujhe in larkon main se (points towards the group of guys sitting with them) kisi ke liye vrat rakhna hota to…?? (gleefully grinning)
Riddhima: shut up Muskaan…yeh kesa sawal hai…mein aissay kaisay…
Ranbir: arey Riddhima…game hi to hai…ap batao, uss ke baad hum sab bhi bata deinge…kyun Armaan??
Armaan: haaan…(he was enjoying this to the limit) tum batao na Riddhima….tum kiss ke liye vrat rakhti…
Atul: haan batao na Ridz…please….
All of them were having a ball watching her get so confused, especially Muskaan and Atul.
Riddhima: ummm main who…umm…coffee le ker ati hun…
She stands up, but instantly Dev holds her hands. She looks down at him in disbelief.
Dev: bethein na Riddhima…aj to batana hi parray ga…
She at once pulls her hand out of his grasp and gives him a disgusting look, while he smirked. She just did not like the feel of this guy around her. Sitting down, she shifts her seat even more closer to Armaan, away from Dev.
Everyone: batao na please….
Riddhima: (sighs) okay…okay main batati hun….(sighs again)
Armaan sits back in his chair to enjoy the scene and what she would answer.
Riddhima: well…ummm…karva chauth to uss insane ke liye rakhte hain na jiss se hum pyaar kerte hain??
Everyone nods at her..
Riddhima: yeah…so…ummm…dekho Atul se to main pyaar ker nahi sakti, kyunki who to mere bhai jesa hai, plus ussay to Anjali di ke siwaye kuch dikhayi nahi deta…(everyone giggled while Atul makes a sober face)…to uski to possibility rehti nahi….Ranbir umm…(eyeing him) well, not bad lekin Aditi mujhe maar degi, aur mujhe to ussi ke saath room share kerna hai na…(everyone laughs)
Armaan was loving the way she was trying to bring the conversation towards him without making it too obvious.
Riddhima: so next is…ummm…Rahul to…ummm….(she thinks: mujhe phansa ker itna hans rahi hai, dekh mein tere saath kia karti hun Muskaan) you know na, Muskaan…to he is out of bounds too…(winks at her)
Muskaan blushes beet-root red while Rahul looks from Riddhima to Muskaan in shock, like everyone else.
Armaan: (thinking) hmmm…this is getting interesting….
Riddhima: well…so…that brings us to..(looks at him) Armaan…(blushes a little)
Rahul and Atul sit up straight to listen to her reply, while Muskaan is still a bit flustered due to Rahul's piercing eyes on her.
Riddhima: well…jahan takk main Armaan ko janti hun….he can go to any limits for the person he loves…aur upar se I think jiss larki se Armaan pyaar kerega…who to bohat hi lucky hogi…(grins) kyunki Armaan jab kisi se pyaar kerta hai, to puray dil se pyaar kerta hai….so I think…yeah…ummm…(grins and blushes again) main Armaan ke liye vrat rakhungi….
Armaan feels a light blush tingling his cheeks as he looks at her affectionately. She was so cute and adorable, the things she had said about him, were like a reward for him. He knew she was generally a shy person, so this coming from her especially in front of people was a big deal for both of them. He smiled and thanked her with his eyes, full with love and affection for her.
Meanwhile, as soon as Riddhima stopped speaking, everyone started 'oooooooohhh' and 'aaaaahh'-ing, making Riddhima extremely conscious. Claps accompanied the hooting and as Riddhima looked up, she felt herself blush.
Just then everyone's pagers rang at the same time. They all left in a hurry. Riddhima got up to leave when her dupatta stuck in the side of the chair. She was busy pulling it out when she gfelt someone speaking into her ear.
Dev: humain to ap bhul hi gai…
She looks up at him, shocked. He was standing way too close to her, and she didn't like it. Dev came closer and pulled out the dupatta from the chair. Riddhima squirmed. She felt extremely uncomfortable in such close proximity to him. This person gave her the creeps. Dev looked up at her and winked.
Dev: lagta hai Dr. Armaan ne kuch jadoo chala rakha hai ap per…..koi nahi, mera jadoo bhi chal jayega…thora time lagta hai….(he flirtingly smiles at her, and then daringly takes hold of her hand, and caresses it)
Riddhima looked at him and made a strict face. She pulled her hand out of his grasp and spoke with anger.
Riddhima: Dev….please behave yourself….main apko kuch keh nai rahi hun iska yeh matlab nahi hai kea p kuch bhi….
She was interrupted by Dev's pager, who took it as a way of running away.
Dev: sorry babez…abhi nahi…main tumhara bhashan, baad main sununga…ok?? (winks again and leaves, while Riddhima fumes with anger)

Night time. Fire escape.
Armaan steps in, looking worried and then heaves a sigh of relief as he saw Riddhima sitting at the last stair, her head lying against the wall. He had been looking for her all over the hospital. She had seemed pretty upset after the cafeteria scene the whole day, but he hadn't been able to talk to him about it. Now, he got the chance to talk to her.
As he entered, Riddhima looked back to see who it was. Seeing that it was Armaan, whom she had wanted to talk to the whole day, she stood up and practically ran up the steps. Armaan smiled as he looked at her, and then she hugged him. Armaan was a bit startled, because the hug was unexpected and she was clutching onto him. Something was seriously wrong.
He slowly patted her hair and hugged her back.
Armaan: Riddhima…what's wrong? Kia hua??
Riddhima: Armaan…(whispering against his chest)…mujhe who….uss waqtt….(slow tears came to her eyes. She had never been hit upon like this before, except for Vivek. In his case, he was a patient and she could get rid of him, but Dev was her colleague. She felt extremely exposed and weir as to why he was hitting only on her. Maybe she had taken her friendliness in a different sense)
Armaan: kia hua? Batao na…(gently pulls her away to look into her eyes, clears her tears) batao…ro kyun rahi ho??
Riddhima: Armaan who…jab tum log….uss waqt cafeteria main….(sobs)
Armaan: ohhh…to tum uss baat ke barray main pareshan ho jo tumne caf mein ker di thi…tch…Riddhima…it doesn't matter…who log tumhare barray main kuch ghalat nahi soch rahay honge…it was a stupid game….(wipes her tears gently and cups her face)
Riddhima: nahi Armaan…main uss baray main nahi…who uss waqt….jab Dev aya tha….(she narrates the whole event to him and starts crying) mujhe kisi ka mujhe aissay haath lagana acha nai lagta…..(sobbing hysterically)
Armaan felt furious after listening to all this, but he tried to keep himself calm for the sake of Riddhima. He took her again into his arms and soothed her.
Armaan: Riddhimaa…its okay yaar….iss main tumhari koi ghalti nahi hai, who khud aissa insane hai….tum bass uss se door raha karo…aur kabhi who tumhare pass aye to just brush him off….aur phir main hoon na?? Jab takk mai hun, tumhain koi haath to kia ghalat nazar se dekh bhi nahi sakta….i will deal with him….tum bass rona band kero huh….(smiles at her, pulling her closer)
Riddhima looks up at him and finally smiles, nodding.
Armaan: that's like my girl….aur itni choti choti baton per roya matt kero….its okay, larkay hotey hain ussay…uska bandobast mein ker luga, dubara tumhain ankh utha ker dekhe gab hi nahi…..
Riddhima giggles and Armaan kisses the top of her head. She snuggles closer to him.
Armaan: (muttering slightly) Pagal!!! (as he kissed her forehead)
