1. what is the character limit?

2. is there an issue with sybmols like " " , when using formatting? as my updates are all messy?

As much we would like going to 8 posts per page...

I now prefer keeping it 10 posts per page not to cause any inconvienience to other FF writers..Many of the writers have updated the indexes to their long--and I mean long FF's already..I think changing them back to 8 posts per page would be adding trouble for them...and changing index page numbers, especially to long FF's is time consuming..so I would just prefer 10 posts per page so others , including me, wouldn't have to go through the trouble again...

Before I wanted 8 pages back..but now I'm liking 10 better, because I've made a list of Updates and I'll have to redo it once again we you change it back.

I really want 8 posts per page....but question: Does having 8 posts per page increase the font size aswell? Bcs if it does I want 8 posts per page back...

But now the confussion is, many members have sorted out their galleries and FFs to 10 posts per page...and plus, all the topics that are above 120 pages(New layout) will count as above 150 pages(Old layout)

So it doesn't matter now...8 posts per page or 10. We'll have problems either way.

Bhaiyaa, why am I seeing Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil have 494 pages in total with 16 topics per page? Confused

when this morning it had 395 pages adn 20 topics per page

i think it's too late to make that change. This shouldve been on the top 5 bug list bcuz it was time sensitive. The members have already gone through the trouble of re-indexing and now changing bk would just cause them more trouble.

And yes, we do need to fix that scrolling problem in each post. It makes no sense to read a line and then scroll down and then scroll rite and then scroll bk up to read the second half of that line....and then repeating that for each line of larger posts...

Why are there only 10 topics on the first page?

I'm okay with the posts her page nowww but there's only like 10 pages on the first page and most of them are stickys...so whenever someone updates a FF of their shop/gallery in the AV&siggy sec. then it bumps to pg 2 so quickly pple dont see it that muchh...

can we plzzzz have the old # of topics her page before cuz the stickys take up so much room there isnt enuff space for like regular topics..

i dont like this change :(

if you are going to have a smart design then the switching btw pages is really a pain for a user..... i would suggest you leave it up to the user how many links(Forum topics) they want to display on the first page..... if you could code it that way it would be great! This has never happened before in that forum. It only occurred due to the topics per page being changed from 20 to 16. I have arranged the stickies in that forum though..!!

16 topics per page is very less.... Ouch

...at times we hav more than 5 stickies...including updates being stickied separately too...hence the discussion topics moving on back pages...!!! If we could have more than 16...i guess that would be better and make things easier for us too..!!!

I don't mind any. But I do like 10 because if there is eigth you have to go on more pages. You know what I mean?

But i don;t really mind.
