Payal made her Bollywood debut in Harry Baweja's Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?, a Hindi remake of the Hollywood teen flick American Pie. However, she went unnoticed in the multi-starrer. She shot into the limelight by doing some small budget films, but she seemed to have a change of heart as she realised that these small budget films were not of her sensibility as these films released badly and were shot badly.

In 2006, she signed her first A grade Bollywood film, 36 China Town, as one of the lead characters. The movie starred already established stars like Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and Paresh Rawal. Even amongst all these stars she got noticed.

Later in that year, she appeared in the critically acclaimed Corporate where, ironically, she played the part of an item girl.

In 2007, she had her first release with Priyadarshan's film Dhol which was produced by Percept Picture Company. She played a positive second lead character, paired opposite Arbaaz Khan.

Tandon also plays the role of Sweeti Mathur in a popular Indian Sitcom, "Hum Paanch". Sweety is often referred to by her family as 'Hateli'.

Rahul Mahajan (born 1974 ) in a Maharastrian Deshastha Brahmin family is an Indian politician. He is son of the late Indian politician, Pramod Mahajan.

Rahul Mahajan came into the news when his father was shot by his own brother and struggled for his life for twelve days before succumbing. Television footage showed him comforting his sister and mother and maintaining a stoic demeanour. There were rumours that Mahajan would be inducted into the BJP to follow his father's footsteps.

However, exactly a month after his father's death on June 3, 2006, Mahajan was hospitalized after an alleged cocaine overdose. His father's secretary, Bibek Maitra was also rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The two had imbibed a cocktail of drugs along with champagne. Mahajan recovered, but on his discharge from hospital on June 6 2006, he was arrested by the Delhi Police on charges of drug possession and consumption.

Ketki Dave (n'e:Joshi) is a Bollywood actress. She works in the popular tv series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Ketki joined the team when the show started in April 2000. She then took a break from work and returned in 2003. She worked for a few months and then had a major fall-out with her producer Ekta Kapoor and hence left the show.

She also played the mother of Saif Ali Khan in the movie Kal Ho Naa Ho which was released in 2003.

Then she starred on Nach Baliye (Season 2, September 2006) with her husband Rasik Dave. They were the first couple to exit the show in round two, which aired on October 02, 2006.

She had a patch up with Ekta and returned to work for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Daksha in November 2006 and still continues to do so.

Sanjay Nirupam (born February 6, 1964) is an Indian politician.

He was born in the remote village of Rohtas in Bihar. He spent his childhood in Rohtas and after completing his schooling, moved to Patna in 1980 for higher education. He has been active in politics since his student life. He graduated in 1986 in arts with honours in political science.

He moved to Delhi in 1986 and joined the weekly "Panch Janya" as a Sub-editor. In 1988, he received an offer from "Jan-Satta" a sister publication of Indian Express which led to his moving to Mumbai.

In 1993, Bal Thackeray, Shiv Sena Supremo asked him to join "Dopahar-Ka-Samna", as its Executive Editor. In September 1996, he was handpicked by Bal Thackeray to represent the party in the Rajya Sabha and propagate the party view point in the Parliament.

In March 2005, he resigned from the Shiv Sena. His resignation was seen resulting from long standing rivalry and hostilities with Pramod Mahajan former Telecommunication Minister in the former BJP government who he has accused of being involved in corruption scandal involving Reliance Industries. Pramod Mahajan is seen as being very close to Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray and one of the chief engineers of the BJP-ShivSena coalition that controlled the previous state government of Maharashtra.

In April 2005, Nirupam joined the Congress Party.
