Kanya is making lovely dum aalo coz it was Diwali. She has also prepared Methi Paneer. She is wearing a beautiful lehnga. Ranbir comes up.

Ranbir- Hey Kanya! Happy Diwali!!

Kanya- Thank you! Same to you!

Ranbir- Mmmmm. Something smells yummy!! Ooooooh Dum Aalo aur Methi Paneer!! Aur yeh theesri dish kya hain?

Kanya (blushes)- Black daal.

Ranbir- KYA? I thought you hated black daal? Phir yeh kyun? Especially for Diwali. Your fav festival!!

Kanya- Actually…………..aaj Ayaan aa raha hain. Maine usse bulaya hain. He likes black daal.

Ranbir- Oh.

Kanya- Cute naa? Sunil too liked the same dish.

Ranbir (muttering)- Yeh saala Ayaan. Mujhe toh lagta hain ki yeh Sunil hi hain!!!

Kanya- Ranbir how dare you?

Ranbir- Kya hain?

Kanya- How dare you say that Ayaan is Sunil? Sunil mar gaya hain Ranbir. He is so no more….

She breaks down into tears.

Ranbir- I am so sorry Kanya. Kanya please rona band karo…..please Kanya. Kanya aaj Diwali hain. Don't spoil your mood.

Kanya- Just leave me alone.

She goes from there.

Ranbir- Why did I do that? Anyways this Ayaan guys is very suspicious. I will have to keep an eye on him. Ofcourse he isnt Sunil. Sunil is dead. But yet Ayaan must have some other means to have fallen in love with Kanya. I don't love her that way but I cant let her fall into wrong hands naa?

TING-TONG TING-TONG

Ranbir opens the door it is Ayaan.

Ayaan- Hey!

Ranbir- Hello. Come inside. We were expecting you.

Ayaan- "We"?

Ranbir- I mean Kanya and Pia.

Ayaan- Oh. That's great! Now move aside. I want to see me wife.

Ranbir- Wife?

Ayaan- Would to be wife. What is your problem you you you…..?

Ranbir- me what?

Kanya appears.

Kanya- Ayaan please don't…..come inside. Pia is making a Diwali portrait with our photos. Go inside and meet her. It is all because of her that this relationship is actually working…..

Ayaan goes inside the bedroom.

Ranbir- That guy gets on my nerves.

Kanya- Ranbir……..

Ranbir- He seems to have a problem with our friendship…..

Kanya- I will speak to him Ranbir. Now relax. Its Diwali.

Ranbir- Sure. But still…

Kanya- Ranbir!!!!

Ranbir- OKAY!!!

PIA's ROOM

Ayaan- That's a nice painting.

Pia- Thanks.

Ayaan- So you are into painting and stuff?

Pia- Yes.

Ayaan- Can I hang this picture in my house wall.

Pia- Sure. But after the wedding only.

Ayaan- Pucca. Now let me leave okay.

Pia- Tell Ranbir uncle to come here.

Ayaan- Okay.

Ayaan tells Ranbir to go to Pia's room. Ranbir goes there.

Ranbir- Wassup Pia?

Pia- Nothing.

Ranbir- Hey…………are you crying?

Pia leaps into Ranbir's arms. Ranbir pats her head.

Pia- I don't want mama to marry Ayaan. I hate that man.

Pia- Its not that. I hate him. He is creepy and weird. I don't like him at all. I wish she married you.

Ranbir- Lets not go over that again Pia. We have discussed that aldready.

Pia- I know……mama wants to be happy. Let her marry him. But I don't want to stay with that weirdo.

Ranbir- Piaaa……..

Pia- Listen….after the marriage can I stay with you?

Ranbir- Whatt??

Pia- Yes. I hate that guy like hell. I cant spend the rest of my life with him.

Ranbir- You arent spending the rest of your life with him its only till you are grown up. Then you can marry someone and lead your life happily!

Pia- Whatever. But I don't want to stay with that creep. Please…..please please please let me stay with you.

Ranbir- I am going to US after that kiddo.

Pia- I will come with you there.

Ranbir- Pia…..

Pia- Please!!!!!! I like you. Not that creep.

Ranbir- First stop calling Ayaan creep even though he is a bit of a creep. And we will think about the other things.

Pia- Please uncle.

Ranbir- Pia. Will think okay? Now come lets eat. Your mom has prepared lovely stuff.

They get upto eat. Kanya and Ayaan sit together while Pia and Ranbir sit together.

Kanya- Ayaan hows the food?

Ayaan- This methi paneer and black daal is lovely. I hate dum aalo. Why did you have to make dum aalo?

Kanya- Coz its Ranbirs favourite dish.

Ayaan- Darn.

Kanya- Ayaan please.

Ayaan- You could have made some chicken or mutton….

Kanya- I am a vegetarian.

Ayaan- So?

Kanya- Ayaan please….

Ayaan- Throw away this dum aalo. The smell's taunting me so much.

Kanya- Aise kaise kar sakte ho tum?

Ayaan- Kanya I will go.

Ranbir- I will throw away the dum aalo.

Pia- No you wont.

Ranbir- Pia please.

Pia- Ayaan you hate the dish?

Ayaan- Yes sweetie.

Pia- The names Priyanka.

Ayaan- Pia??

Pia- No Priyanka. If you hate the dish you throw it.

Ayaan- But…..?

Kanya- Pia!!!

Pia- Mom chup! Ayaan agar you hate the dish you throw it away. Ranbir uncle and mama wont go. Sit down Ranbir uncle. Ayaan you go and throw it away. But if you do I am going to take a snap and put it on the internet saying that a famous man is throwing away dishes in his fiance's house!!

Ayaan- Pia you wont…..

Pia- Priyanka. And yes I will!

Ayaan- Okay Kanya. Lets not throw out the dishes.

Pia- Good for you. Otherwise you would have had to wash the utensils too.

Ayaan glares at Pia.

Ranbir- Don't you dare look at her like that……

Ayaan- What will you do?

Ranbir- I will pop you eyes out and squeeze your head!

Ayaan- You dare to……!!!

Kanya- Guys stop fighting atleast for me!!!! Ranbir come with me. Pia….

Pia- I will come too…..

Kanya- You go inside your room.

Pia goes and sits in her room. Kanya drags Ranbir into the kitchen.

Kanya- Ranbir please for heavens sake!!!!!!

Ranbir- Kanya!! Look how he is treating Pia.

Kanya- Its all her fault. She will get from me.

Ranbir- You know she was crying her heart out. She doesn't want to stay with you after you and Ayaan tie the knot. She wants to come with me to USA.

Kanya- What??

Ranbir- Yes!! And perhaps I should take her too!

Kanya- Kaise baathe kar rahe ho?

Ranbir- Haan! You seem to be lost in your own world. Give some time for Pia too.

Kanya- Oh you mean I should cancel this relationship again?

Ranbir- No! Don't be lost in yourself! Spend sometime with her too. Give her your time like you always have! She is afraid that once you marry that Ayaan you will forget Pia. You wont have anytime for her!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kanya- But that's so not true!

Ranbir- Convince her then!! Stop spending all the time thinking about Ayaan spend some time with your daughter.

Kanya- Don't teach me Ranbir! I don't like it!

Ranbir- That's why you are like this!!!!

Kanya- Ranbir I will do whatever I want. Now you do what I say. Pack your bags and leave my house!!

Ranbir- What? Kanya I don't have any place to stay. Kanya please.

Kanya- Ranbir I said leave! I will contact you only after you leave for US! I don't want Pia to get too full of you. And LEAVE!

Ranbir- Kanya but…..

Kanya- NOW LEAVE!!! AND DON'T COME BACK!!!!!

Ranbir takes his stuff with tears in his eyes. He leaves the house before he meets Pia.

PIA's ROOM

Kanya- Priyanka! Priyanka Rathore!

Pia- What?

Kanya- How dare you behave so badly?

Pia- Mama he was insulting Ranbir.

Kanya- So what?

Pia- You werent doing anything!

Kanya- That's not your problem!

Pia- Mama he is such a nice person!! He likes you so much!

Kanya- Priyanka just shut up!

Pia- Mama he wont agree and you wont agree but he really loves you a lot!

Kanya- Priyanka just shut up!

Pia- Mama I hate you!

Kanya- As if I care! Just shut up and sit here!

Pia jumps into bed and cries her heart out. Kanya goes into the kitchen and clears stuff out. Ranbir catches a bus and goes into a hotel. Ayaan goes back home and into his hot swimming pool.
