About Pravesh Rana

Pravesh Rana born in India is a male model and Mr. India 2008, and a reality TV show personaility. In 2009, he participated as a wild card entry in the reality TV series, Bigg Boss.

Rana is a former senior quality advisor for IBM and an economics graduate from Ramjas College, Delhi University. His penchant for mimicry has garnered work for Rana as an anchor and model in India and overseas. He won the Haywards 5000 Mr. India contest at a ceremony at Hotel Intercontinental Mumbai, walking away with three most sought after titles: Mr. Best Body, Mr. Talented, and Mr. Groovy voice. He will participate in Mr. International, to be held in China.

Rana has worked for television channels like Zoom and STAR One as an anchor.

Rana is the 14th person to enter the Bigg Boss House in Big Boss 3. There was an audition held in three cities in India for the Bigg Boss "aam junta wild card ticket" in the Big Boss house amongst the people in India, and Rana won the audition at Delhi. He entered the house on the 33rd day. He seems to be the most cunning person in the Bigg Boss house. First he garnered support of Claudia and then he helped drive Rohit out of house. After this he is targeting Vindu, Raju and Poonam because they are the strongest candidates to become the winner. His abrupt and unnecessary fight with Vindu was a surprise for the housemates.
