Neil bhatt plays a role of Abhinav Tarneja a male protagonist in karol baug . He is love interest of a female protagonist Simi sethi. He is a student of MIA belonging to rich family falls for the older woman Simi who is also his sister's sister in law and a lecturer at Delhi university complicating his and his family members' life.

He also played the male protagonist in Jo Ishq Ki Marzi Wohi Rab Ki Marzi on Sahara One, which was later on renamed as Kismat Konnection.
In JIKMWRKM his character's name was Sumer. It is about a boy who falls in love as a young child and is seperated from his love. After several years...its a story about how he meets his lost love. Kismat Konnection carries off the story as his character in JIKMWRM Sumer dies as he was about to unite with his love... So its about re-birth... he comes back as Veer to get his lost love in previous life...
