No its wrong information..
1.) This is ridiculous ferena has never said any such thing about katrina.
2.) She has not been 'trying' to be an actress for seven years. she just graduated from RADA around three years ago and was studying theatre in india also . she is a full equity actor which means she has done lots of work, including theatre and film. and
3.) She has had offers from brands. But has just been advised not to do any until after she has a few movie releases which is what lots of actors do.

Ferena and Katrina Kaifs career started at the same time. Whn Katrina did 'Boom' Ferena said "I feel sorry for Katrina"
1) Ferena believes Indians hv 'fascination' with fair skin n this is wht makes her stand out in India.
2) Shes bn trying to bcm an actrss for abt 7 yrs
3) Ferena claims 2 b in early twenties
4) She has not been signed up for any big commercial brands like Lux, Nokia, Levis etc

Journalists often slant articles to make their story work and that is what happened here. She was supporting katrina and saying that felt bad the press was giving katrina a hard time.
She said she has a lot of respect for katrina and that she works very hard and its hard to live in a new country and learn a new language.
But the journo just cut all that out and it always happens in India, they tried to create fights between bipasha and kareena and sridevi and madhuri.
But its silly.
