She is the elder daughter of Kirti Parikh. She is a girl who gets carried away by external grandiose and spectacle. Being very laidback in nature, she has no ambition to achieve anything in life through sheer hard work and perseverance but wants these things to fall into her lap someday. Unlike her younger sibling, Krutika has no ambition to achieve anything in life through hard work and dedication. She dreams of luxuries, comforts and lavish lifestyles. Krutika likes to get pampered and is pretty selfish.

She is a simple girl from a simple, yet reasonably rich Gujrati household. She is the youngest of three daughters and her father always encouraged her to do what she wanted. Having seen her older sisters married off and straddled with bawling children early in their life, she escaped in the direction of a possible career, with the intention that it would be a legitimate excuse for the family to delay her marriage. Her mother is possessive and she is always trying to make excuses for her mothers over domineering and loving over indulgence. She gets a dabba full of Gujrathi food, large enough to feed all the interns. And she has to very often leave work early, or keep Friday evenings free to meet a potential match.

She is a 22-year-old smart woman born and brought up in UK and is a doctor by profession. A perfect blend of beauty and brains, she is madly in love with Vicky. She is ready to sacrifice her lifestyle for her love and plunges into the challenge, she takes on to get married to her love. Since Vicky's family is very conservative, moreover Bauji, would never agree to accept her as a bahu, she has to pretend like an uneducated woman and thus achieves her aim of getting married to Vicky.
