He is a traditional thinking patriarch. He was a government employee until his retirement one year back. He saved and invested his money wisely and that helped him to buy the present bungalow. He is proud of providing a home to his sons in these expensive times in Mumbai city. He also helped his sons to set up their own business with the money he got from his provident fund. And now he feels he has done more than fulfilled his duty as a father. Now he expects to be looked after by his children and also demands the same respect that he commanded when his children were younger.
