Pratha is a very normal middle class girl, of good values and morals. She has lots of warmth, love and affection, but others should not misjudge it as her weakness. Pratha is a sincere student and also loves to dance and paint. Her mother brought her up single-handedly, since her father abandoned them when she was only 5 years old. Since then she has seen her mother struggling hard to bring her up and so to support her mother and herself, she teaches dance to small kids.
Pratha believes in God and supernatural powers, but does not like people to use occult for mere entertainment. Since her childhood she has seen her mother struggling in life, and emotionally she has not come out of it yet. That’s why she believes that love only gives pain and prefers friendship over love. But destiny has something else in store for her. One fine day Pratha meets Raghav, a new guy in her college. The moment Pratha meets Raghav for the first time, she feels the tingling of a previously unknown emotion within her. She is completely unaware of her romantic feelings for this stranger. She has never experienced Love before, so she does not know what love is. She does not want to fall in love, but destiny always makes her fall in lap of Raghav. And slowly she realises her love for Raghav…and accepts it. And as they say, love changes everything, and it really changed everything for Pratha. Unaware that her family is suffering from generations with a Curse, that the marriages will only cause problems she dreams of a happy life with Raghav. But little dos she know that happy endings are a far cry, and the journey will be full of obstacles. And in her case unlike others in her family, the problems will be of supernatural nature.
Her biggest strength is truth and honesty and purity. Even though she comes out as vulnerable, she is strong from inside. And repeated problems in life, makes her realize this strength.
