Mahi Vij was born in Delhi and is of Punjabi origin. She currently lives in Mumbai and is engaged to actor/television personality Jay Bhanushali.
Early Career:
Mahhi is a prominent model and has done numerous music videos. Among these is Tu, Tu Hai Wahi, in which she appears in a pink dress along with two other models. Mahii has also worked in a Malayam movie opposite Mammootty.
Television:
Mahhi started her television career as a female lead in a TV serial Akela. Her latest work is a video album of Aqeel, in a song called Ek Chehra. Mahi played the lead role of Pratha in the Sahara One show Shubh Kadam. Her breakthrough role was that of protagonist Nakusha in the television show Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors TV. The show became a top-rated show in India and she became a household name. Mahhi is currently seen in season 4 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as a contestant.
