Bhavna Khatri, who earned a lot of fame while playing the character of Afreen's sister, Tambreen in Khwaish, is going to play the role of Prem's elder sister in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, from now. The name of Bhavna's character is Kulraj and the other actor; Manav Vij is going to play the role of her husband in the serial.

The actress, Bhavna Khatri was looking to be quite excited about playing the character in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and while talking about her character, she said, "My character's name is Kulraj who is a very happy go lucky person and loves to enjoy life. However, she is very protective when it comes to her family, as she is the eldest in the family. The character is a lot like Kajol from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham". She elaborated her thoughts about the character further and said,"She has the perfect family and her life revolves around her husband and child. She is the typical homemaker.Her life comes to a standstill when she learns that he is having an affair and it's a complete emotional breakdown for her". So, it seems that the producers of the show are trying to add something more in the story line of the show, with the entrance of Bhavna and Manav in the serial.
