About Surekha Sikri

Surekha Sikri or Surekha Sikri Rege is Indian film, theatre and TV actor, who has won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress twice, for her role in Tamas in 1988 and for Mammo in 1995.

She graduated from National School of Drama (NSD) in 1968, and worked with the NSD Repertory Company for over a decade before shifting base to Mumbai.

She was the recipient of 1989 Sangeet Natak Akademi Award.

She have worked in many films Zubeidaa, Mr. and Mrs. Iyer, Raincoat and many more. Surekha have also done some serials such as Banegi Apni Baat, Kesar, Saher, Samay currently she is working in Saat Phere as Bhabo and in Balika Vadhu as Dadisa(Maasa)
