Personal Life:
Sukirti Kandpal was born in Nainital, Uttarakhand. Sukirti was born to Mr & Mrs B D Kandpal. She has an elder sister, Bhavna, and a brother, Manjul Kandpal.
Early Career:
Sukirti, being a daughter to a public prosecutor, initially intended a career in law also.
Television:
Sukirti entered the industry as a model before moving onto acting, as the offers began to come in. As an actress, she shot to fame first with Cinevistaas TV series titled 'Jersey No. 10' in the year 2007, a youthful show with a sports theme, where she played the role of a tennis player named Saakshi. Shilpa Anand, who enacted the role of Dr. Riddhima for the first 9 months in theTV show Dill Mill Gaye, announced that she was leaving the show. Sukirti was signed on as her replacement and her first episode as Dr Riddhima aired on June 2nd 2008. After that Dil Mil Gaye, she bagged the role of Siddheshwari Singh in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo.
Presently, Sukirti is the main lead as Piya in the Star One show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani.
