Age: 50 years Profession: Works in the same office as Avtaar… special designation in the guest relation segment. Self obsessed, pompous, lazy, procrastinating king, full of pride for his sons, lives for the day, hates to plan for future (why should he? After all he has sons who will take care of him later) Due to all the above points, Amarnath is the not the most sought after employee in his firm. His boss wants to chuck him out of the job, but his friend Avtaar keeps supporting him. Due to his impeccable reputation, Avtaar manages to pursuade his boss to retain Amarnath. Avtaar lives in the pride that he has two sons who are earning well and doing good in life and he can always depend on them. Dhruv is his only son with whom Amarnath has no hope…. “Nalayak beta paida kiya hai !!! kabhi kabhi to lagta hai hospital mein badal diya gaya thha” is his favourite line to his wife Suman.

Balraaj is very much like Anupan Kher from the film Bride and Prejudice. He takes immense pride in his daughters and has thought them to always keep their head held high. He is a farmer and has petrol pumps as well. They are very modern cum routed family.

Principal Hari Prakash[ Arohi's father].Hari Prakash is the princpal of Gurukul and teaches Sitar to children, he has his principles/ morals set, doesnt take bribe or surrender to lie or injustice.
