Once its summer time, all one can wish for is a good beach, a better tan, and the best music! Thus, as the sun makes it way to shine bright, BollyCurry urges y'all to gear up your playlists that you're all set to bask in! After a long winter wait, we are bringing to you a collection of Bollywood's greatest party music pictured on the best of summer-y beaches.
Shut Up and Bounce
Set in the beaches of Miami, this 2008 track created waves globally soon after its release, owing to Shilpa Shetty's epic return to Bollywood after her marriage, along with flaunting her 36-24-26 figure in various attractive beachwear by Manish Malhotra. Despite doing a cameo in Dostana, Shetty's song vocalized by Sunidhi Chauhan and Vishal Dadlani managed to top the charts for the overall perfect beach-y setting and a bang on track! What more could we ask for?
Kiss Me Baby
The movie titled Garam Masala in itself gave effect to the essence of our theme. Indeed the 'hot spice' of the beautiful beaches in the track added more flavor to the song. From the bright colored costumes, to various hot-shot models in the track, Adnan Sami Khan completed the song by adding his magical touch. This track depicts a perfect Goa setting where everyone is just in the mood to relax, and if it's Sami on the mike, then you're surely partying all night!
Salman Khan's six pack is the foremost attraction of this song and movie, Partner. However, once you take a deep breath, you can notice the beautiful beaches where the song is pictured. Phuket's beaches are a destination which is always on your list when it's summer time. This track takes us back to Udit Narayan's melodious voice, in collaboration with Shantanu Mukherjee (Shaan) and Wajid Ali. If Salman Khan can plan his vacation up the beautiful beaches, then surely you can plan one too, and ask your beloved "Do You Wanna Partner?"
Oh Girl, You're Mine
While Deepika Padukone and Lara Dutta are drawing attention to their striking half-bikini attires in the movie Housefull, the jaw-dropping Zagare beach of Italy isn't any less! The calm and deep blue waters added cherry to the massive hit summer party track sung by Loy Mendosa, Tarun Sagar, and Noman Jail. If you haven't caught up with the video of this song yet, you're certainly missing out on something epic!
Tum Hi Ho Bandhu
If you're still living in the nineteenth century, and claiming that Africa is a jungle, you are one person who needs to tune in to this prepossessing track shot at the Maiden's Cove beach of Cape Town, South Africa. If you are offered to have a Cocktail on the beach, and were listening to this peppy song by Neeraj Shridhar and Kavita Seth, BollyCurry assures you that you are having the time of your life. Did you know that a special set was built on the beach, just to exhibit the beauty of it in the song? Such is the attraction and overall impact of beaches in a song.
Last but definitely not the least is the Yo Yo Honey Singh track, from Yaariyan which raced to the top of the charts in no time. Singh is accompanied by Neha Kakkar in the song shot at the Cape of Good Hope, once again shot in South Africa. The sprightly tuned song and the brightly colored beach setting along with bare chest men and bikini clad women; altogether give the song an edgy international touch to it!
We, at BollyCurry are amazed at the dazzling beach locations around the world. The touch of Bollywood's summer party songs alongside such spectacular beaches surely takes our breath away! In the meanwhile, why don't you take a look at the songs we have listened above, and this time round, examine the locations used more promptly? Alvida till next time!
