Director Pan Nalin who is known for his short films, is all set to adapt legendary Pakistani playwright Saadat Hasan Manto's short story 'Toba Tek Singh' on silver screen. Furthermore, he is looking forward to cast Aamir Khan and Kate Winslet as the lead pair.


 
The story presents the comical side of an Indian mental asylum during partition of India in 1947. Nalin already has already picked Rachel Weisz as a subsitute incase Nicole refuses to do the role. He is set to meet both of the actresses after his Cannes trip to finalize the roles.

    woww...bollywood and hollywood are merging..i am kinda glad tht both of them have become more opened minded towards each other and they are beginning to appreciate what the other does..and this way both, the bollywood and hollywood can take advantage of what the other has to offer =D
