One of the most hyped days of the holiday season is fast
approaching and shoppers everywhere are gearing up to score the best deals. The
day after Thanksgiving, otherwise known as Black Friday, is the official day of
splurge for shopaholics everywhere. Capping off this busy weekend is Cyber
Monday, which offers great deals for those who wish to skip the long lines and
shop at the comfort of their own home. So, in celebration of this glorious day of shopping (and splurging), BollyCurry
has put together a list of Bollywood females who love shopping!
First on our list is B-Town's fashionista, Sonam Kapoor
Sporting high-end brands such as Armani, Prada and Burberry, Ms. Kapoor is
undoubtedly one of the most fashionable stars of today. So, there is little surprise
that she enjoys shopping for these wonderful pieces of clothing just as much as
she enjoys wearing them. When it comes
to shopping, Sonam doesn't discriminate; she enjoys shopping in Goa and Mumbai
just as much as she likes hitting the streets in Paris and New York. Every
shopaholic has splurged on more than one occasion and Sonam is no different - the
Bvlgari watch she purchased in the Caribbean islands was one pricey item, but it
is her most cherished buy to date.
This list is incomplete without the multitalented
model-actor-singer, Priyanka Chopra
, making an appearance. This style
diva has a
serious fetish. Whenever Priyanka goes
on a shopping spree, she has to buy at least one pair of shoes otherwise
shopping experience remain incomplete. Ms. Chopra is well known for her
taste in designer footwear. This
shoe-crazy actor has often been spotted at various promotional events
while sporting shoes
from the luxury shoe brand, Christian Louboutin. One pair of Louboutins
wore while promoting her single "In My City", cost a whopping Rs
Another luxury shoe brand Piggy Chops likes, Jimmy Choo, averages
upwards of Rs. 40,000.
, the actor turned fashion icon, is the
celebrity of choice to walk the
runway these days. However, this fashionable mother of two is not at all
conscious. So, where does this self-proclaimed shopaholic like to go
shopping? Goa. Karisma has mentioned that Goa is one of her
favorite shopping spots because she can get "funky" things.
Internationally, this style diva likes to
shop in two of the fashion capitals of the world - Paris and Milan.
This former Miss. Universe is no newcomer to fashion and
has admitted to being known as a compulsive
shopaholic among her inner circle of friends. She started her splurging ways at
an early age and bought her first Chanel tweed jacket at the age of 17, quickly followed by black
dress from Azzedino Alain in Paris at the age of 19. Over the years, Lara Dutta
has splurged in more than one occasion and like
many of the celebs in this list, shoes are her fashion obsession. Her impressive - and undoubtedly expensive - shoe
collection features pieces from Manolo Blahnik, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian
Louboutins, and Jimmy Choos. In addition to the designer labels, Lara also
enjoys spending money at River Island, Topshop and Zara. Bombay Electric
is her go to fashion spot in Mumbai.
The final celeb on our list
is the epitome of effortless fashion, Kalki Koechlin
. This laid back fashionista
is also a hesitant shopaholic. While
Kalki won't admit to being a shopaholic, she does say that she loves shopping
at street shops where she can spend hours at a time. She swears by high-street
fashion and loves shopping for vintage clothes in boutiques in London. So, you
must wonder what made Kalki earn a spot on this list. The answer - shoes! She
has admitted to having a major shoe fetish. Her love of shoes has become a
problem to the point where she has run out of room in her closet to store her
massive collection of shoes of over 60 pairs. Now that is a lot of shoes!
So there you have it, the list of Bollywood
shopaholics. Did anyone surprise you with their splurging ways? Let us know in
