Abhishek - Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Some called it excessively overdone, others called it a fairytale! Nonetheless, this grand wedding that took place five years ago on April 20th, 2007, made it big in the news! The two celebs were discussed right up till their daughter, Aradhya's birth! Abhi and Aish's love story blossomed on the sets of JP Dutta's Umrao Jaan, six years ago! After that, during the filming of New York, Abhishek revealed that he'd stand on the balcony of his hotel room and think of his lady love. Finally, after the premiere of Guru, Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya on that very balcony! On January 14, 2007, a lavish engagement took place at the Bachchan residence followed by an even grander, larger than life wedding three months later! Despite the grandeur, the event was declared a 'quiet and private ceremony' with only close family and friends attending. Like a normal, traditional wedding, there was a sangeet, and a mehendi ceremony! Bollywood's most loved couple then celebrated their honeymoon in the beautiful city of Venice right after tying the knot!

Raj - Shilpa Kundra
If Aish and Abhi's wedding was grand, this event was famous in the media for it's wedding card! A beautiful, gold wedding card, designed exclusively for Shilpa and Raj's wedding! The card had a royal feel to it, the theme of the wedding. It took designer Ravish Kapoor over a month to complete it! The two met in 2007, upon Shilpa's win in the British reality show, Big Brother (Indian adaptation: Big Boss). From that day on, their love story began which led to the British millionaire businessman proposing to Shilpa. Two years exactly from the day they met, the couple got engaged in late October 2009. Almost a month later, on November 22, 2009, the beautiful couple tied the knot! Just like Aish and Abhi, the marriage of the two was a private yet lavish affair in Khandala. Raj and Shilpa had a Mangalorean wedding, a ceremony in the Bunt tradition. The gal was dressed in a red and burgundy saree embedded with Swarovksi crystals, designed by the one and only Tarun Tahiliani! The groom looked just as charming donning a maroon sherwani with gold embroidery designed by Shantanu and Nikhil along with a sword in his hand, as per Indian tradition. After the eventful marriage, the two went off to the Bahamas for a honeymoon! In May last year, the couple was blessed with a baby boy!

Imran - Avantika Khan
The chocolate boy of Bollywood that rapidly rose to fame, Imran Khan, tied the knot with his nine year girlfriend last year! Friends from school times, the two shared a live-in relationship for a year during the time they were in Los Angeles when Imran trained to be an actor! Many say that fame changes people but in Imran's case, that hasn't happened at all according to Avantika, hence the marriage on January 10, 2012. If the wedding was in the eye of the media, it was because of the reason that Imran's Uncle, Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan happened to be throwing the wedding for his nephew! Mahesh - Lara Bhupathi

The lovebirds met a year after tennis player, Mahesh divorced his first wife - a very controversial event! After a few months of dating, Mahesh proposed to Lara in New York City and they got engaged! Ritesh - Genelia Deshmukh
This beautiful young couple met on the sets of Tujhe Meri Kasam in Hyderabad! These two were together for nearly seven years, without the media and general public even guessing! They finally tied the knot on February 3rd, 2012! Not only are these two considered the cutest couple but also the sincerest! The wedding took place in a Marathi tradition in Mumbai, India at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Ritesh was seen wearing a white sherwani and a red turban with a long pearl necklace. The bride looked astounding in a red bridal lehenga designed by Ritu Kumar. It's said that since Salman Khan was unable to make it to the wedding, he sent the couple a surprise honeymoon package as a gift!

Bharat - Esha Takhtani
Daughter of legendary veteran actors, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Esha Deol got engaged to businessman Bharat on February 12, 2012! The madly in love couple tied the knot on June 29, four months later. The couple had a lavish South Indian wedding with countless guests from the film industry, except for the bride's step brothers, Sunny and Bobby Deol. Esha was seen wearing a beautiful red sari designed by Neeta Lulla! After a week of partying over their wedding, the couple went off for a month long honeymoon to a location kept secret!

Saif - Kareena Ali Khan
Now, coming to the most awaited couple after Aish and Abhi, Saifeena! The two started dating in 2007 shortly after the break up of Shahid and Kareena. It was during the shooting of Tashan in Ladakh that the two met, talked and charmed the pants off each other - literally?! Kareena revealed that Saif even went to her mother to ensure that she approved of the relationship - which she luckily did! Then came the wedding which took place on October 16, 2012, five years after the two started dating! The wedding happened to be a big fat event that the media covered feverishly! There was a sangeet, Nikah, and even pheras followed by a grand reception! Siddarth Roy - Vidya Kapoor
Following Saifeena, came the turn of Dirty Picture's Vidya Balan! Love blossomed between the couple in December 2010 when Siddarth's production company worked on No One Killed Jessica! In May 2012, the two showed up together publicly, as a couple for Karan Johar's 40th birthday bash, followed by the very public gift of a 14 crore flat in Juhu, which Sid bought for his lady love in July! December 14, 2012 was the day the two officially tied the knot in Bandra. The wedding was a mix of a South Indian and Punjabi wedding, to honor both Vidya's tamilian and Siddarth's punjabi heritages.
