The New Year brings a myriad of new opportunities and various new firsts for numerous. We, at BollyCurry, bring you a look at what you can expect from this new year in terms of fresh new talent. The following people will be stepping into B-Town for the first time in 2013.

Jai "Tiger" Shroff, son of Jackie Shroff, is finally going to be making his Bollywood debut this year. This 21 year old lad has been working out and really buffing up his body for his upcoming release. In fact, his determination and talent has even caught the eye of veteran Aamir Khan who is taking special interest in his grooming. This debutante who has it all, looks, height, a great body, connections and genes, is going to be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala's next Heropanti. Heropanti is an action film which is expected to make full use of Tiger's extensive martial arts background.

The chocolate boy Sushant Singh Rajput, commonly known as  Manav from the popular Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV, is all set to debut in the upcoming Kai Po Che. Rajput is also recognized for playing the character of Preet in Star Plus' Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil.  The movie is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel The Three Mistakes of My Life, and is about the iconic journey of three friends in their respective fields of cricket, religion and business. The move is all set to release on February 22, 2013.

TV actor Amit Sadh will also be seen in Abhishek Kapoor's Kai Po Che. Amit has been seen in numerous TV serials including Neena Gupta's Kyun Hota Hai Pyar, Guns N Roses, Kohinoor, etc. However, his biggest claim to fame was his stint in the first season of the popular reality show Bigg Boss.  He also participated in Nach Baliye with his then fiance Neeru Bajwa.

The beautiful and charming Tamannaah Bhatia will be stepping into B-Town in the upcoming comedy Himmatwala, directed by Sajid Khan. Bhatia will be seen alongside Ajay Devgn in this film that is slated to release on March 29, 2013. Although Tamannaah has done a few cameos in Bollywood and on TV, this film is her official breakthrough on the big screen!

"Why This Kolaveri Di" fame, Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja, commonly known as Dhanush, will be debuting into Hindi cinema in Anand L. Rai's upcoming Raanjnaa. Dhanush has acted in a wide variety of Tamil movies, but Raanjhnaa will be his first film in the Hindi language. The movie is scheduled to release on June 28, 2013, and will star Sonam Kapoor as the female lead.

Siddhant Kapoor, son of Shakti Kapoor, is finally all set to make his B-Town debut this year. This star son was initially supposed to be launched by Salman Khan, a plan that fell through. Sanjay Dutt was the next person entrusted with the launch of Kapoor, but that also did not come to fruition. Now, he will finally be seen in Sanjay Gupta's Shootout at Wadala. Siddhant, who is also a popular DJ, will be portraying a sharpshooter in this upcoming flick to be released on May 1st, 2013.

Rhea Chakraborty is another pretty face that will be gracing a big screen in 2013. This talented lass has already graced our TV screens since 2009, when she won the MTV show Teen Diva. Since then, she has been seen as an MTV VJ in numerous shows like MTV Wassup, TicTac College Beat Teacher's Aquanoon Party, etc. Already having made her debut in the Southern Film industry in a 2012 Telegu movie, the actress will be seen in Yash Raj Films' Mere Dad Ki Maruti later this year.

Poonam Pandey, a controversial model known for daring to bare, will be making her Bollywood debut with Nasha. Her daring proclamation that she would bare all in front of the Indian Cricket Team if they won the 2011 World Cup has been her claim to fame. She hasn't done so yet, but did keep a similar promise she made before the IPL win by SRK's Kolkata Knight Riders. True to her word, she posted a naked picture of herself on Twitter after the KKR beat out their opponent to clinch the title! Nasha, taglined with "Get Addicted", is an adult flick directed by Amit Saxena of Jism fame and is expected to release sometime in Summer 2013.

Last but not the least, the man who reached new heights of fame with his character of Arnav Singh Raizada on the hit television show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, actor Barun Sobti also makes a debut into the Indian film industry with the movie Main Aur Mr Right. Along with Barun, the movie also stars Shenaz Treasurywala and Kavi Shastri, while it is directed by Adeeb Rais and produced by Pooja Gujral. Suggestion of a replacement of his character in the show after his decision of quitting and trying his hand in the film fraternity, didn't go down well with his fans and for the first time ever a show was shut down due to an actor leaving! However, no matter how disappointed fans were to see their favorite show end, they are still very happy for Barun and can not wait to see him on the big screen!
