It's said that we raze the old to raise the new, and an example of this can be found in the beautiful newcomer of Bollywood, from the star 'Bhatt family', Alia Bhatt!

On March 15, 1993, Soni Razdan (film actress & director) and Mahesh Bhatt (director, writer & producer) were graced with their daughter Alia, youngest of four children. Bhatt was born in Mumbai and completed her high school education at Jamnabai Narsee School in 2011.

Given her celebrity family, Alia was bound to catch the acting fever! Choosing not to continue her education any further, she entered the glamorous world of Bollywood, debuting last year in Karan Johar's recent movie, Student Of The Year, a commercial success! Opposite debutantes Varun Dhawan and Siddarth Malhotra, who have become the heart throbs of millions, Alia won the hearts of many as her performance was no less! Critics were more than happy to compliment the new blood's acting skills. Where some called her reminiscent of Kareena Kapoor in K3G, others said she was extremely photogenic, almost doll-like! Even given the many reviews, there has not been one negative comment made about her acting thus far, proving a great start to stardom.

At the age of 19, the gal is definitely single, but ready to mingle? Probably not so fast!
