Commonly known as Chhote Nawab, Saif Ali Khan, born on 16th August, 1970, turns 42 this year, starting a new chapter of life.

The versatile actor, who has starred in approximately 50 films so far, has undoubtedly had a long and memorable journey in Bollywood. He has two National Awards and three Filmfare Awards, including the Best Actor in a Comic Role, to his credit, and has always been appreciated for his roles. He has also been honored with the prestigious Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian Cinema.

The actor who began his career with Parampara first tasted commercial success with Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Yeh Dillagi. His other hits include Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho. Omkara, Parineeta, Hum Tum, Love Aaj Kal and the more recent Cocktail. Saif today is also a successful producer with his own production house named Illuminati Films. It would not be wrong to say that Saif is one of those few actors who have sustained their run in Bollywood for so long, and that in itself is an achievement keeping in mind the cut throat competition in Bollywood.

The actor was previously married to Amrita Singh and has two children named Ibrahim Ali Khan and daughter Sara Ali Khan with her. Currently the star is in a committed relationship with Kareena Kapoor and with news of their wedding round the block, the upcoming year promises to be even more special for Saif.
