What's the new formula for success in Bollywood? Now, that ain't a question difficult to answer. A movie from the South available for a re-make, a beautiful belle from tinsel town as the leading lady, a stud from the South for her love interest, throw in some popular music and garnish it with a flavor of Bollywood. There you have it, a sizzling hit!

The next movie up the ladder ready for a Bollywood re-make is the Tamil super-hit, Ayya. And if we believe the buzz, here's a chance for the much-adored Rani Mukherjee to revive her lost glory in Bollywood. Reema Kagti's Dhuaan, opposite Mr. Perfectionist aka Aamir Khan, is the only project on her hands, currently. If all goes well, the actress will start shoot next month for the Tamil remake of Anurag Kashyap's Ayya. The movie is also the debut ticket of popular South actor, Prithviraj, into Bollywood. According to the Tamil movie track, Prithviraj will be a painter in the movie and Rani will play his love interest. The highly acclaimed Marathi director, Sachin Kundalkar, will be seen established in the Hindi cinema after this venture.

Are you ready to see the 'Princess' back in all her royal glory? We for sure are!

I agree with you. I dont know why the film maker everytime wants to cast Karina although she had lots of flops. Rani's expression was really awesome and she can suite in each and every role.

happy 2 see rani back after a long time.wonder what were the film makers doing when they had a choice of casting this brilliant actress opposite khans .she looks good with all of them.rani n amir makes a beautiful couple.if some of rani's film didn't work,it doesn't put a question mark on her talent.she's flawless.these filmmakers should get some time time off from casting kareena in every second film and put this brilliant actress in action to improve the quality of their cinema.

Ya I should have read the complete article. But it is also true that we havent seen Rani for almost 3 years in Hindi film. Doesnt it seems anything else? Previously there was also lots of popular actress like Madhuri, Sridevi, Juhi and they also are now not doing any movie. The film industry is also like cricket, when your time you are very popular when goes...

If you had bothered to read the complete article you would have realised that Rani is NOT leaving the 'Hindi' film industry but making a Hindi version of the Tamil Movie!!

That is really sad that you are leaving hindi film industry and are going to south. But it is obvious that everyone has to leave the industry once she grow old.
