Buzz has it, that a movie based of eternal diva Rekha's enigmatic and controversy ridden life...

A fan of real life stories made into films? Well here comes a news that shall interest you very much.

Buzz has it, that a movie based of eternal diva Rekha's enigmatic and controversy ridden life is to be churned out. The interested filmmaker in this case happens to be Kapil Sharma.

This allegedly unfolding venture will be called Sitara and it places claims on exploring all phases of Rekha's life.  From her initial struggle in Bollywood to the complications of her extremely short lived married life, and of course, her much-talked about relationship with Amithabh Bachchan.
 
While many might be interested in seeing such a film, there has been no word of formal confirmation from Rekha herself yet. In fact, it seemingly appears that the project is set to proceed, with consent of the legendary actress.
 
Wondering about who might be shortlisted to play the role of Rekha in the film? Bipasha Basu, Rani Mukherji, and Sridevi have made it to the list of contesting contenders for what is likely to become an epic onscreen portrayal.
 
On a side note, Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film Heroine starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also focuses on an Bollywood actress and the drama of their lives, also it doesn't singularly focus on any particular Bollywood starlet.
 
For now, it is Rekha's life tipped off to be filmed. If you have a pick of any current day actress who fits the bill, be sure to voice your opinion!

    It has to be rani.
    Rekha and her "mirror images" have to be linked up with Bachans.

    They are incomplete without them :)

    it will best come back for the Eternal beauty Sridevi oh gosh i miss her n she is like perfect for the beauty that matches Rekha
    although i love Sonam n She looks a lot like Rekha but the old filmy magic doesn't suit her really i like her more in peppy n modern look
