Abbas Mastan was all set to shoot an item number for the promotion of his movie "Race", when Bong bombshell Bipasha Basu put her foot down. The promotional song was supposed to feature Bipasha, Sameera Reddy and Katrina Kaif. But Bipasha made it clear that it would be either only her or the other two in the song.
Now, whether the reason for refusal to do the song was Bipasha's willingness to do the performance solo or her unwillingness to perform with "Musafir" girl Sameera, is still not clear. Sameera was almost ready for the shot when the director duo informed her about Bipasha's stance. She was quick to understand and vanished from the sets only to return when Bipasha had left.
But wouldn't it be nice if Bips babe understood the director's dilemma? After all, featuring a number of Bollywood beauties in a single song is a recent trend started by Sajid Khan, the director of "Heyy Baby". He employed 14 actresses for his promotional item song, the video of which has broken all records on "youtube.com".

bi8pasha sint proud im amzed at all of those who are beliving the media if she did do soemthng like that then there must be a reason but the media are tryign very ahrd to pull her down you can clearly see that!!!!!! its pretty clear so all we have to do is stick by her and like she is doing keep her head up shes the best !! goo bips!!

bips..hmm..i dont blame her for backing out. she's done hits like no entry, beedi, namak..as solos..they why does she need to split the screen w/ two other women? plus there's katrina..and her and kat don't get along well..as heard in KWK too. Soo, that could also be a reason.It's nicer for her to drop out rather than telling others to quit. Also, about heyy babyy. yea she shared screen space w/ others..but that was MANY others..they wouldn't all get much screen space..it'd be mainly akshaye, ritesh, and fardeen..not the girls..the girls just come and go. =P
so, overall..i agree w/ bips' action.

no dudes...bips was decent enought to back out politely instead of creating a tamasha....i think it was very professional of her..instead of agreeing to the thing and then getting irritated when there...i agree with her totally...aur vaise..the poor thing s being mauled by the incessant media....media people just dont get how they can ruin someone's life for them..do they?
