Rajnikant and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's superhit movie, Robot, regionally named Endhiran, has run into some legal trouble. And once more, legal trouble implies copyright acts violation.

Apparently, Tamil novelist Aarur Nadan has lodged a complaint against the director and producer of Robot. The novelist claims that the movie's plot line was based on a novel that he wrote in 1996 for a local magazine. Nadan stated that he first sent a notice to the director and producer but received no response in return so now he has decided to approach the law for justice.

We sure hope a settlement can come about between the movie's team and the claiming author - before the fame earned by Endhiran can bear unnecessary blemishes.

@myLuvShahid-ji : Yes! This movie is indeed the highest grosser... Do not think only Bollywood is there in India. This movie didn't do that well in Bollywood. But it is smashing Hit in all the southern states and many countries in abroad.
And this movie is not based on I-Robot as the launch of this movie was planned earlier in 2000 with kamal hasan and priety zinta. But due to its
High budget and tech difficulties it was dropped. Director shankar actually developed this idea with Writer Sujatha (the gr8) , who wrote sci-fic on Robots in Late 1980s itself (En iniya endhirave )
