Piggy Chops, who walked away with 2008's Apsara award in the 'Best Actress' category, is in the running for the second time!

Having

bagged the award last year for her role as a supermodel in Bhandarkar's Fashion, it was the de-glammed role as a Marathi mulgi in Kaminey, that secured Priyanka's nomination for the second year running.

The 5th Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards for 2009 are slated to be held on 8th Jan 2010, with blockbusters Love Aaj Kal, Ghajini, Wake Up Sid and Kaminey ruling the list of nominations.

Meanwhile popular movie Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani which starred Ranbir and Kat was one of the biggest grossers of 2009 and has bagged 5 nominations, though it has failed to make it in to any of the major categories.

Ranbir Kapoor (Wake up Sid) and Shahid Kapoor (Kaminey) will be pitted against Shah Rukh Khan (Rab Ne Bana di Jodi), Aamir Khan (Ghajini) and Saif Ali Khan (Love Aaj Kal) for the 'Best Actor' trophy.

Meanwhile Priyanka Chopra be facing competition from Konkana Sen Sharma (Wake up Sid), Kareena Kapoor (Kurbaan), Deepika Padukone (Love Aaj Kal) and Asin Thottumkal (Ghajini) for the 'Best Actress' award.

so obvious it is that aamir will win even if he thinks to go to award function is below dignity and degrading for him !! he is a great actor but why this fuss and then why they bother nominating him ...
