I personally don't like the dress, full stop. But I'd say they've both pulled it off quite well.

the dress is ugly period! doesn't matter who wears it.....they will look horrible...........lol
Hard to compare.... one is a photoshoot (Katrina's). So obviously she had all the right angles, lighting, airbrushed make-up etc to her advantage. Sophie on the other hand was clicked impromptu. So she had weird angles, improper lighting etc ... despite that she is not looking bad at all! I must say I've come to admire Sophie's figure and dress sense. She gives all the other actresses a run for their money.

The dress is ugly, but you cannot compare the pics because one is a photoshoot pic and the other is candid.
