Ranbir Kapoor finally SPEAKS about Sanjay Dutt's biopic!

Ranbir Kapoor is all set to enthrall the audience with his upcoming biopic film based on Sanjay Dutt.

Ranbir Kapoor's last film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' received a great applause from the audience. It was with this film that the actor gained his rhythm in Bollywood as his past films Bombay Velvet and 'Tamasha' had received rave reviews from the critics. Jr. Kapoor who is prepping up for the release of 'Jagga Jasoos' is also working on Sanjay Dutt's biopic side by side.

As we all know, Sanjay Dutt was filled with several ups and downs. The film marks Ranbir's first biopic where he will be seen stepping in Baba's (Sanjay Dutt) shoes. Owing to Sanjay's controversial life, looks like this film will surely be one of the most challenging characters that Ranbir will play onscreen.

Speaking about the same, in a recent interview with a popular magazine, RK spoke about the film and stated that it will be a lesson for the youth. He says, "The biopic that Rajkumar Hirani is making will teach you something. It will talk about human flaws, the emotional father-son story (between Sanjay and the late Sunil Dutt), his relationship with his best friend, with the women in his life. It's emotional, it's funny, it's sad, it's bittersweet. The youth have a lot to learn from his mistakes". "(sic)

He also revealed that the film will not portray Sanjay as a good or a bad person but instead it will portray the truth. He says,"Sanjay's lived his life. He owned up to his mistakes, he's paid the price for it. He's been through much his mother (the late Nargis Dutt) passing away just before the premiere of his film, drug abuse, being labeled a terrorist, his failed marriages, the grind of punishment We're not trying to project Sanjay Dutt in any way, it's not a propaganda film,". (sic)

Till date, Ranbir has always tried to deliver his best performance and we hope that with this one too he does justification to his character.

Sanjay Dutt biopic also stars Dia Mirza as his wife Manyata. It is slated to hit the silver screens by December this year.
