A documentary chronicling the life of Malayalam filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan is being shot in his native town Adoor.

Adoor gopalakrishnanA documentary chronicling the life of Malayalam filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan is being shot in his native town Adoor.

The documentary is being directed by Vipin Vijayan, one of the filmmaker's students, for the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts.

It will include Gopalkrishnan's ancestral home and his experiences in Kottra L.P. School and Adoor Boys' High School, where the veteran filmmaker completed his education.
