Tamil actor Dhanush is excited about doing comedy in his upcoming yet-to-be-tilted Tamil film with National Award winning director A. Sargunam.

"Starting Sargunam's film from Feburuary 2nd week. It will be an out-and-out commercial entertainer. Can't wait to do some comedy!" Dhanush tweeted.

In his decade-long career, 29-year-old attempted comedy in some sequences in Tamil films such as "Padikathavan", "Uthama Puthiran" and "Mappillai", but never did a full length comedy feature film.

The actor is currently busy shooting the final schedule of upcoming Hindi romantic-drama "Raanjhnaa" in Delhi and Benaras with Sonam Kapoor. It is coming out June 28.

His Tamil project in the offing is "Mariyaan".
