Sequel to 'AANKHEN'

Producer Pahlaj Nihalani, finally all set for a sequel to his 1993 blockbuster 'Aankhen' that starred Govinda and Chunkey Pandey in lead roles.

Producer Pahlaj Nihalani, finally all set for a sequel to his 1993 blockbuster ‘Aankhen’ that starred Govinda and Chunkey Pandey in lead roles. The producer has been thinking of it since years and finally decided to go ahead with it. The script writing is in process and as soon as the final draft is ready, he will make the official announcement.

 
The buzz is that the producer wants his son Rohit to be a part of the film and David Dhawan to direct this film. However, Nihalani denies this and says he will not even repeat the earlier cast. The only thing to remain same is the premises.
 
 
As per the producer, he will have to go for fresh faces in order work out this sequel. Not only this a lot of music thrills and emotions will be part of the movie. Apart from this once again a lots of laughs and thrills plus double roles and once again a monkey will be the part of the movie.
 
 
The shooting for the movie is expected to start by next year. According to producer actors, Govinda and Chunkey may find a role in the movie but at present, it is too early to get into the casting details.

    OMG i Aankhen was a great film!! and yeh, i think it would be better if it had the same cast!!, anywayz cant wait 4 the film =D

    I think the cast of the film should be in sequal as well, otherwise it would be not a sequal, beside this it was a blockbuster!!!!!!!!!!..........

    Govinda and Chunkey should be in the sequel...after all the movie was a hit...it wouldn't be a sequel witout them...
