Mumbai, Sep 13 (IANS) Tisca Chopra, who made her debut with Ajay Devgan in 'Platform', has landed herself a plum role in Aamir Khan's 'Taare Zameen Par' and says it's an opportunity of a lifetime for her.
'For someone who has waited on the fringes for so long, my role is like a heaven-sent opportunity,' Tisca told IANS.
'There are only four principal characters in the film and I am one of them. I play mother to the boy Darsheel Safary. He has to be seen to be believed! The boy is that good,' she added.
The actress, who tried her luck on TV in serials like 'Astitva Ek Prem Kahaani' and 'Sarrkar', describes the experience of working with Aamir as director as an eye-opener.
'He's a wonderful human being and great person to work with. 'Taare Zameen Par' belongs in the life-changing genre of 'Rang De Basanti' and 'Swades'.'
Remind her of the fact that Amol Gupte was earlier directing the film, and Tisca goes blank. 'As far as I'm concerned Aamir was always directing 'Taare Zameen Par'.'
