Fashion designer Rohit Verma, a cross-dresser, is upset with the Supreme Court's ruling that homosexuality is a crime. He says everyone has the right to live their life and love a person their way.
"I am very sad. Every person has the right to live his life. We call ourselves a free nation, but this verdict makes us feel that we are not really free," Rohit said here Wednesday at his fashion show.
"If a person loves someone, then no one should have any objection. Every individual has the right to love on his own terms and conditions. It is a very wrong verdict. I ask the media to support these people and raise your voice against the verdict," he added.
The Supreme Court Wednesday held consensual sex between adults of the same gender a criminal offence, leaving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community dejected.

I CANNOT believe that STILL at the end of 2013, so many people as well as the damned Indian SC, STILL are so narrow-minded and hypocritical!
The cheap, stereotypical comedy on homosexuals portrayed in bollywood movies and TV serials, may play a minor part, but definitely DOES play a part in shaping the opinion of the common man who watches them!
It is almost 2014, at least NOW let people love and live freely and happily. Shame on the Indian Supreme Court. This makes me so disappointed in my country.
@diptanusinha2 very well said!
Obviously this ugly faggot would say the verdict is wrong. If I ever see Rohit in real life, I swear I will break him into half and before that I will spit on his face. Homosexuality is a disease and it is destroying our Indian culture. Shame on all those people that support this incurable disease.
The last time i checked, a person had free will. No government has the authority to control what one feels. Humans have complicated life so much. In a country where one can commit hideous crimes and stay under cover, for they know influenced people, than why the fuss over a person's preference? India, please correct the glaring flaws in the country, and grow up. This is not medieval age anymore.
Gay merrege and homosexulity is crime the supreme courte is right, Because this Gay People are Destroy Our Hindu calture,So This Guys Are Totaly Mad, And Agnist Our Nature. So i Support SC .
indian govt has gone mad... what do you exactly mean by laws of nature? only reproduction? every human being is bisexual. due to society and all and our upbringings most of us are heterosexual. but that does'nt mean homosexuality is a crime or against nature. it is absolutely normal. it depends on an individual choice. its nothing wrong to fall in love with someone.

Human rights are rights of convenience. In each part of the world, they only serve the rights of one section of society: the middle aged majority man. In America, it is the straight white man. In India, it is the heterosexual brown man. The rest of the people and their rights can go to hell. I feel you Rohit Verma as a minority, woman of colour in a country populated by predominantly white men, I am also characterized as a bottom feeder like you. But we can rise, we must rise, and show our oppressors it is not okay to dehumanize us. We must claim back the rights we were not awarded in the first place. I stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ community of India. Years ago, there were lessons learned from the same battle in Canada: it gets better. We will live to see the day when it gets better. We will be the people who make it better.
What is moral and what is immoral?
It is immoral to murder...
It is immoral to Rape
It is immoral to steal
It is immoral to Abuse children
It is immoral to support Child Labour
It is immoral to Vote Congress
IT IS MORAL TO FALL IN LOVE, EVEN IF IT IS WITH SOMEONE OF SAME SEX!!.
i agree with the court decision!! "homosexuality is against te nature rules"
I agree with Rohit. In fact this will create more crime in India now as with the kind of Police and political system we have such people would be targeted for personal satisfactions ..
