"Jagga Jasoos" will bring together 1990s hit star Govinda, known for his dance and comic timing, and current heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor together on the screen as father-son and Ranbir is quite excited to see "Hero No. 1" as his on-screen dad.
Ranbir said: "I am very excited about the film because we all somewhere have been influenced by Govinda as an actor and dancer. For me, he playing my step-father is really an exciting opportunity for me."
"I hope with 'Jagga Jasoos', we can give him the right platform to his talent," added the 31-year-old.
"Jagga Jasoos" marks Ranbir's foray into production, but the Kapoor scion doesn't feel any pressure.
"I don't have any pressure as a producer. I am working with Anurag Basu again and we have certain ideology about films. We are here to make a good and entertaining film," said the actor whose last film "Besharam" fell flat at the box office.
