Currently, Sanjay is in jail to serve his remaining jail term in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts case. Prachi believes his fans will definitely watch the film.
"I have to say that everyone (film's crew and the cast) will do their best. It's unfortunate what has happened. We do understand that but, at the same time, we are doing our best. I am sure there are people who love him (Sanjay) for what he is," Prachi said here in an interview.
"They are still going to go to the theatre (to watch Sanjay's film 'Policegiri') no matter whether he goes to their cities to promote the film or not," she added.
Prachi further said she "just believes in the love the people have for him (Sanjay)".
Meanwhile, Prachi is excited about her look in the film. After being seen in ultra-modern look in her last release "I, Me Aur Main", this time her character is more "colourful" and "approachable".
"There is no particular look, but we have tried our best to keep it as young and colourful and as approachable for people," said the 24-year-old.
"I am just happy experimenting with looks and with 'Policegiri', I guess I am getting a chance to do that again."

I miss Sanjay's old films. I'm looking forward to seeing this film. I just hope it's not too gimmicky. Also, what's Prachi's character in this film? She didn't say anything about the character except for her look. Shouldn't the look be secondary to the characterization? The costumes and styling for the character will be based on the requirements for the story and the character she plays. I remember for her previous film she talked more about her look than her character. A good script and strong and intriguing character should be the thing an actor looks for first in choosing a project. Everything else will follow as per the story.
