It will be a double bonanza for actress Tannishtha Chatterjee at the ongoing 66th Cannes International Film Festival as the theatrical promo of her another film "Jal" will be unveiled there.
India is the guest country at the festival and "Jal" will be unveiled at the India Pavillion.
She has gone there to represent her movie "Monsoon Shootout", but will also be present at the unveiling of "Jal" promo, which is based on scarcity of water in Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
Directed by Girish Mallik, the movie, produced by Oneworld Films Pvt. Ltd, will also have a screening for selected dignitaries May 22.
"We at One World Films and our International sales partner- Insomnia World Sales/NFDC are privileged to get an opportunity to showcase the film at such a prestigious platform on occasion of celebrations of 100 years of Indian cinema," Mallik said in a statement.
