The first look of "Aashiqui 2" and its music will be launched Monday at Sudeep Studios, a place where "Aashiqui" music was recorded about 23 years ago.
"We were contemplating many ideas. We planned to have the first look and the music launch at the Rose Garden, then on a Yacht to make it look romantic. But nothing was convincing," Bhushan Kumar, co-producer of "Aashiqui 2", told IANS.
Later, one of the persons from the marketing suggested to have both at the Sudeep Studios, "where the music of 'Aashiqui' was born. It was destined to happen there," he added.
"It's a very emotional moment for my family also. I am looking forward to the launch tomorrow (Monday)," he added.
"Aashiqui 2", however, is not a sequel to "Aashiqui". The only similarity is that it is also a romantic-musical.
When asked about the presence of lead pair of original "Aashiqui", Kumar said: "I don't think they will be there, but we will play a small AV (audio-visual) of the original film at the launch."
