Looks like Lady Luck is once again smiling on Ashmit Patel. After making headlines with his string of romances, he has now bagged a role in Salman Khan's upcoming film 'MENTAL', where he will be playing the star's childhood friend.

Naturally, the actor is excited and even wrote on his microblogging site "'Mental' boyzzz in Dubai. Guess who???" and posted a picture of him and Sallu.

The actor says, "I am having a great time shooting. With Salman bhai being around there's never a dull moment. The feeling is completely different when you are working with friends. I'm really happy to be part of Sohailbhai's film, especially since he's directing after a long time."
