Upcoming film "Satyagraha" will see as many as 1,500 Bhopal residents in the film and director Prakash Jha says a two-month special workshop was held to train them.
"Yes, we held workshops for the locals for about two months. These acting workshops were necessary. I'm really happy with how they have been contributing to my 'Satyagraha'. It's fantastic to see their energy and enthusiasm for the film," said Jha, who earlier shot "Raajneeti" and "Aarakshan" in the city.
The prominent names that feature in "Satyagraha" cast are Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Rao among others.
"Satyagraha" is set for an August release.
