Actor-anchor Shekhar Suman, who has turned director with "Heartless", has completed the filming of his maiden project.
"The shooting is over and the post-production has started in full swing," said a source.
"Heartless" is a medical thriller, about a mother-son bond, where the son needs a heart transplant.
Shot in Dubai and Mumbai, the film will release this year.
"Heartless" is Shekhar's tribute to his late son Aayush. He lost his son to congenital heart disease.
Shekhar has worked in TV shows like "Dekh Bhai Dekh" and "Wah Janab", he also hosted c chat show "Movers & Shakers" for Sony.
On the big screen, he was seen in films like "Utsav" and Sansar".
