India is making a huge mark now in the international film fraternity, feels leading Indian actor Anil Kapoor.
"India is making a huge mark now. There are four films with Indian presence which are contenders for the Oscars," Kapoor told mediapersons while inaugurating fashion designer Raghavendra Rathore's couture tailoring store, Raghavendra Rathore-Jodhpur, here Sunday.
In a career spanning over 30 years, Kapoor has made a mark globally with films like Danny Boyle's (2008) Academy Award-winning "Slumdog Millionaire," for which he shared the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
Popular for his pairing with veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi in movies like "Mr. India", Kapoor said he would love to work with the actress again in a unique role.
"I would love to work with her again and I am sure we will. It has to be something which we have never done before - a role, a script which we have never done. I don't want to repeat what we have done. Of course, we have to play our ages," said Kapoor.
"It is a great time for newcomers. There is Imran Khan, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth, Ranbir Kapoor... Today's generation loves to make their own choices and take their own decisions and when they are really stuck they come to ask for advice," said Kapoor.

Anil is full of crap I saw him in the series 24 in US and believe me his acting sucked the guy does not even come close to Hollywood actors and I can say no one in Bollywood has any talent to match folks in Hollywood Ashwariya Rai tried it and she failed big time. These people need to come out of the fantasy land they are living in and accept the fact that they are not in the same league as Hollywood. The talent and know how is just not there.
It's so easy for these star kids! Always have a godfather to fall back on! Most of them probably never had a real job in their lives and didn't have to work a day before they had the red carpet laid to become a Bollywood star! I really have no respect for them!!
I respect people who have come from nowhere and made a mark on the movie industry. What they have done is hard to achieve! Even in TV! Making it as an actor when you don't have someone "sponsoring" you can only be done if you have talent and a good work ethic! Give me people like that any day over spoilt brat star kids!
I respect Anil Kapoor who is a very talented guy and also Shri Devi who I think is a class act! Now that is REAL talent! Something heaps of actors today lack!
