Actor Varun Dhawan, who impressed with his smooth dance moves in hit debut movie "Student Of The Year", grooved and cheered at his guru, choreographer Shiamak Davar's recent show and Davar is all praise for him.
"Whether it is Shahid or Varun, this stage has created many stars, and for me everyone who took to the stage today is a star! Varun is really a teacher's dream, such a fine person and so talented. It was great to have him at the show," said Davar.
Varun took to the stage as soon as the song "Radha" from his movie was played. His impromptu moves had the audiences on their feet.
The ConfiDance Show was performed by Davar's trainee students in Mumbai Thursday. It was packed with lifts, turns and stylish techniques - from jazz, Broadway to contemporary - the students did it all.
Performed by the Special Potential Batch (SPB) and the Junior Dance Company (JDC), students are annually handpicked by Davar and receive advance training with a focus on technique and knowledge.
